I live and work in Rome. I studied painting at Central Saint Martins in London and attended courses in goldsmithing at Alchimia School in Florence, plus lost-wax metal casting techniques. Early life humanistic studies have shaped my strong interest in poetry, language, and mythology, later intertwining with my technical skills. I graduated in Building Engineering and worked for a long time in the field of design, as chief of a Business Aviation Design Studio, where I developed style designs for VIP cabin interiors of helicopters and business jets, winning several design awards.

For over a decade I have been deepening my artistic research, examining the potential of the pictorial form and the power of three-dimensional objects. My investigation explores the theme of human identity, of men’s passions, weaknesses and hopes, observing how the “bent over” individual constantly struggles to figure out his own purpose in life, while externalizing a perfect self-image. I ponder over the link between emotions and the "wounded inner-child" (P. Schellenbaum), but also over the ability of men to resonate with one another and ultimately with nature.

With my art, I hope to represent fragments of the Jungian collective unconscious, focusing on my own personal imagery: on meanings and myths, and on my own search for identity. As a result, this introspective path gives birth to twisted anthropomorphic sculptures, rounded bodies and emotional swellings, with which I want to tell my own inner journey. I hope to inspire others to recognize the self-built cages and to acknowledge their own story.
